1. What We Collect
You do not need to create an account to play. Dungeon Delvers does not ask you to manually submit personal information in order to start a run. However, some technical and gameplay-related information is processed so the website, web game and Android app can function correctly.
- Basic device, browser and app information such as device type, browser type, operating system version, language, app version, and crash or diagnostic data collected by the platform.
- Gameplay-related data such as the leaderboard name you optionally enter, the highest room reached, the render mode you chose on Android (2D or 3D — the web build is 3D only) and limited in-app progress needed for game systems.
- Network and session data needed for multiplayer peer-to-peer connections and synchronization.
- Advertising identifiers, cookies, IP addresses and related signals processed by Google advertising services where ads are enabled (see section 3).
2. Website and Browser Game
The website contains original game information, guides, leaderboard pages and a web game launcher. The browser game may store limited preferences in your browser, such as graphics settings and display name, so you do not need to choose them again each time. The web build is 3D only; the render-mode preference is exclusive to the Android version.
The site also embeds the official trailer using YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain and loads Google Fonts for typography. These services may still receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details and the page you requested.
3. Advertising (Google AdSense and AdMob)
The website may use Google AdSense after approval. The Android app displays ads through Google AdMob, integrated via the Capacitor AdMob plugin. Google advertising services may use cookies, advertising identifiers, IP addresses or similar technologies where applicable to serve ads, limit repetition, measure performance and help detect invalid activity.
- Banner ads are shown at the top of the screen outside of active combat (for example on menus and between rooms). They are hidden during gameplay, during class selection and on the death screen.
- Interstitial (full-screen) ads may appear when you die, between runs.
- Website ads, when enabled, should appear only on pages with original publisher content and should not cover navigation, buttons or the game canvas.
- Personalized ads may be requested only where permitted. You can control this through your browser, Android device settings and your Google account settings.
Ad-related data handling may depend on your browser, device settings, region and consent options. You can read how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services at
Google's partner sites policy page.
4. Consent and Privacy Choices
Depending on your region, you may be shown a consent message to accept, refuse or manage your advertising choices. Users in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland may receive additional consent controls where required by law.
You may also manage privacy and advertising preferences through your Android device settings (for example, "Ads" and "Privacy") and your Google account settings. You can reset or opt out of personalized advertising at any time from those settings.
5. Multiplayer and Technical Data
Multiplayer uses PeerJS for peer-to-peer connections between players. When you host or join a multiplayer run, the app may process technical data needed to create and maintain a session, such as connection metadata, room codes, peer session information, latency-related data and basic runtime details.
To help establish peer-to-peer connections across networks (NAT traversal), the app may contact public STUN servers provided by Cloudflare and Google, and the PeerJS signalling server. These services see only the technical information required to broker the connection.
6. Leaderboards and Player Names
When you die, the game may offer to save your run to the global leaderboard. If you choose to do so, the name you enter and the highest room you reached are sent to our leaderboard service hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure (at dungeondelvers-game.com) and displayed inside the in-game Top 8 leaderboard.
The leaderboard name you enter is also cached locally on your device so you don't have to retype it. Do not use sensitive personal information as your leaderboard name. Submitting a score is optional — you can skip it.
7. Third-Party Services
The website, browser game and app rely on the following third-party services:
- Google AdSense - website advertising and ad review/verification where enabled.
- Google AdMob — advertising (banner and interstitial ads).
- Google Fonts - website typography.
- YouTube no-cookie embed - official trailer playback.
- Capacitor — the native framework used to package the Android app and expose device features.
- PeerJS — peer-to-peer networking used for multiplayer.
- Cloudflare — backend, hosting, content delivery, STUN and leaderboard API.
- Google STUN servers — used as fallback for NAT traversal during multiplayer.
- Google Play services — app distribution, security, updates, testing and store functionality.
8. Local Storage and App Functionality
The app and browser game store limited information locally on your device to keep settings, improve performance, remember preferences and support normal gameplay behavior. This includes items such as graphics settings, your leaderboard name, short-lived session or death-flow state, and on Android, your chosen render mode (2D or 3D — the web build is 3D only). This data stays on your device and is used to help the game run correctly.
9. Children and Age Suitability

10. Data Security
